English translation (by AI):
This prayer by Shrimad Rajchandraji is a profound expression of deep humility, acknowledging one's faults and spiritual emptiness while pleading for divine grace. It emphasizes the necessity of total surrender, the guidance of a true Master, and the need to recognize one's own shortcomings to progress on the path of liberation.

1. O Lord! O Lord! What can I say? You are the savior of the meek, so kind;
While I am a vessel of endless flaws, of a deeply fallen mind.

2. No pure devotion dwells in me, nor do I see Your form in all I view;
I lack true humility, I lack meekness—what can I say, O Divine and True?

3. The Master's words and holy commands, I have not locked unshakeable within;
I hold no steady, unwavering faith, nor supreme reverence to wash my sin.

4. I have not found the holy company, nor served the truth as a seeker must;
I lack total, absolute surrender, and the shelter of an aligned, sacred trust.

5. So helpless am I, what can I do? I lack the wisdom to choose the right;
To rest at Your feet till my final breath, I lack the patience and inner might.

6. My heart blooms not with joyful awe when I witness Your glory so divine;
Not even a tiny spark of love, nor Your supreme grace, can I call mine.

7. I feel no unshakeable attachment to You, nor do I burn with the pain of separation;
The rare story of Your divine love remains out of reach, yet I feel no tribulation.

8. I have not even entered the path of devotion, nor do I pray with true awareness;
I have no understanding of my true spiritual duty, nor do I dwell in a place of pure goodness.

9. The dark flaws of this age have corrupted me, breaking every sacred boundary of religion;
Yet, look at my actions, O Lord! I feel no anxiety, no distress over my condition.

10. Those very bonds that oppose Your service are the ones I fail to cast aside;
My body and senses refuse to obey, as they chase external attachments with pride.

11. I never feel the agonizing pain of Your absence; neither my words nor eyes reveal such a plea;
I feel no detachment from those who lack faith, nor from my own home and family.

12. I am far from being free of my ego, and I have gathered no wealth of spiritual practice;
I have not attained the pure state of renunciation, nor any true virtues to practice.

13. In countless ways like these, I remain completely empty of any spiritual means;
I possess not a single true virtue within—with what face can I appear before Your screens?

14. You are the absolute embodiment of compassion, the brother and protector of the helpless soul;
I am a supreme sinner, entirely orphaned—O Lord, please take my hand and make me whole.

15. For endless lifetimes I have wandered blindly, without any awareness of You, my Divine Lord;
I never served the true Saints or Masters, nor did I ever drop my prideful sword.

16. Without taking absolute refuge at the feet of the Saints, I performed countless empty rituals;
Yet I never reached the shore of liberation, nor did a single drop of true wisdom become habitual.

17. All my spiritual efforts became new chains of bondage, leaving me with no way out of this maze;
I failed to understand the true path of practice, so how could my attachments ever dissolve in its blaze?

18. I never developed a deep absorption in Your name, nor did I cross to the other shore with the True Guide;
Since I could not see my own inner faults, by what other means could I ever stem the tide?

19. I am the lowest of the low, the most fallen soul in this entire vast creation;
Until this absolute truth dawns upon my heart, what value can any spiritual practice have for my salvation?

20. Falling repeatedly at Your lotus feet, this is the one and only boon I beg of You over and over;
Grant me that unwavering conviction to see You and the True Master as one, forever and ever.

The Core Spiritual Meaning
The core meaning of this entire prayer is radical self-honesty as the ultimate gateway to spiritual awakening. Shrimad Rajchandraji is not merely venting guilt; he is demonstrating the deep Jain concept of Alochana (pure, objective self-examination) and Bhav-Shatru (identifying inner flaws as the only true enemies).
True spiritual growth cannot begin until you strip away all ego and face your internal reality exactly as it is [not available].

Key Spiritual Themes Broken Down

1. The Trap of "Empty Rituals" (Stanzas 3, 16 & 17)

  • The Illusion: You can perform thousands of religious rituals, read scriptures, and follow rules, but if your ego remains intact, those very practices become a spiritual trap ("All my spiritual efforts became new chains of bondage").
  • The Truth: External rituals are useless without internal transformation. True religion is an internal shift, not a collection of outward performances.

2. The Mirror of the Most Fallen (Stanzas 1, 13 & 19)

  • The Illusion: Believing "I am a good, religious person because I pray."
  • The Truth: Stanza 19 is the psychological climax of the prayer. Shrimadji states that unless you truly realize you are the "lowest of the low" (in terms of spiritual awareness), your ego will hijack your spiritual practices. True progress begins from absolute zero—total humility.

3. The Absolute Necessity of a Guide (Stanzas 15, 16 & 20)

  • The Illusion: Navigating the labyrinth of human delusion and karma entirely on your own.
  • The Truth: You cannot see your own blind spots. The prayer stresses that a living, enlightened spiritual master (Sadguru) is indispensable. The final goal of the seeker is to see no difference between the ultimate Divine Consciousness and the spiritual Master who guides them there.

4. The Shift from Worldly Attachments to Divine Separation (Stanzas 7, 10 & 11)

  • The Illusion: Being deeply affected by worldly gains, losses, family, and comfort, while feeling completely indifferent to your soul’s stagnation.
  • The Truth: A true seeker shifts their emotional intensity. Shrimadji laments that he doesn't feel the "pain of separation" from the Divine. The core message is to stop weeping over worldly losses and start weeping for your own liberation.

Summary: The Ultimate Message
This prayer is the blueprint for shattering the ego. It teaches you that you cannot heal a wound you refuse to look at. By laying bare every possible spiritual failure—lack of love, lack of focus, lack of discipline—the seeker is completely emptied of pride. It is only when the cup of the ego is completely emptied that divine grace and true wisdom can finally fill it.
